Alta Guajira, Colombia

Since 2017 I am working on a project about the Guajira peninsula, Colombia. TheGuajira peninsula is located at the Caribbean Sea right at the border to Venezuela. The climate of the region is arid. Only the mountains of the Macuira national park drain water that creates an oasis in the middle of the desert. The state of La Guajira hosts Colombias largest population of Wayuu indigenas.
